Remember someone you love with a Hospice Heart

You can dedicate a Hospice Heart to a loved one online, or by contacting Sophie by phone at 01952 221 351 or via email at individualgiving@severnhospice.org.uk.
To make a dedication online, follow the process on the box above entitled “Make your donation to dedicate a Hospice Heart” and fill in the text fields step by step. It's really simple to use.
We ask you to tell us about the person you are remembering and your relationship with them so that we can thank you. This information will not be displayed on the inscription.

It may take up to two months for the Hospice Heart to be placed on the sculpture, as the engraving occurs approximately every six weeks. Having regular engraving times helps us save money, which ensures that the maximum amount of your donation goes towards our caring services.
If you would like a Hospice Heart placed for a special occasion or birthday, please contact Sophie by phone at 01952 221 351 or via email at individualgiving@severnhospice.org.uk, and we will endeavour to make this happen.

You can write a personal message remembering a loved one, up to 91 characters including punctuation and spaces. We kindly ask that you don't include any dates. Your message will appear exactly as written, so please check spelling and punctuation carefully. If there are concerns about your message's suitability for display, we will contact you to discuss it before engraving the heart.

For health and safety reasons we will place the Hospice Hearts on the sculpture, and we will contact you to inform you of the heart's exact location so that you can plan your visit. If you are dedicating multiple hearts and would like them placed close together, please contact Sophie by phone at 01952 221 351 or via email at individualgiving@severnhospice.org.uk after completing your dedications.

Each Hospice Heart will be in place for two years from the date they are first placed on the sculpture. A few months before the second anniversary, we will contact you and ask whether you would like to renew your tribute to keep the Hospice Heart on the sculpture for longer.

You can also renew your tribute sooner by visiting our website and selecting “Renewal” instead of “New heart” during the dedication process. We will contact you once the Hospice Heart has been placed. We welcome you to visit our Garden of Memories whenever you wish - it's always there for those seeking a moment of quiet reflection. No pre-booking is required, but if you plan to bring a group of more than 10 people, please contact us in advance at individualgiving@severnhospice.org.uk.
While you are visiting, we warmly welcome you to visit our Refresh Café, located near our gardens and always serving carefully prepared meals, snacks, and hot drinks.

We welcome you to visit our Garden of Memories and the Hospice Heart you've dedicated. We understand that you may wish to bring flowers or other tributes to leave too. However, we kindly request that you don't leave anything in the garden. Our dedicated gardeners and volunteers invest significant effort in maintaining the garden's beauty, ensuring it remains a serene and inviting space for all patients, families, and visitors.

Yes. You can dedicate a heart in memory of anyone you wish—whether it's a family member, friend, or someone else special you want to remember and cherish.

Your tribute ensures we can continue to care and make a huge difference to families living with incurable illness in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales.
For every £1 donated to Severn Hospice, we spend 87p directly on care and use the remaining 13p to raise the next £1.

Unfortunately, we cannot reallocate a prior donation to a Hospice Heart. However, we thank you so much for your donation, your continued support really means the world to us.

The hearts may naturally patina over time due to exposure to the elements. However, our beautiful gardens hold great importance to us, and our dedicated gardeners and volunteers invest significant effort in their upkeep.
